Design Process

1. In Home Visit...

   Here we measure the space for a virtual rendering and establish a list of your wishes for the project. We try to discuss every form and function detail in a brainstorming session with our designer which can be great fun!

2. Virtual Rendering

   

   Usually within 48 hours of your in-home visit, abaico creates and presents you with a three-dimensional virtual rendering of your project as it will look in your space. This step will help you visualize the final product and highlight any modifications that may be needed before building begins.

3. Your Feedback-Changes/Additions

   Your comments, changes, additions and deletions are then integrated into the next rendering. The design evolves and we draw it for you.

4. Second Rendering & Quote

   The second rendering is produced and sent along with a quote for cost of fabrication which includes delivery, installation and our exclusive "Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee" covering any and all function and finish problems - even if they are not the fault of ABAI, just like the old days at Marshall Fields. We work hard to be the very best design and build firm in the area. Our goal: to have a long term relationship with clients. naturally this requires their having received total satisfaction in their engagement of abaico. 5. Time Frame Established, Building Begins

   

   The next drawingdiscover your comments and reactions, then we produce drawing #3 and usually by then we have accomplished exactly what you have in mind for your custom made project, and sometimes even a bit more than our client thought was possible. When we have really nailed the concept and you are totally satisfied that the design is just right, we set a time frame and begin fabrication and finishing. (We also deliver and install). 6. In-Shop Approval

   

   We are so resolute about building relationships that we allow changes even after the project is built. At 75% complete you may come to the workshop, (if you wish) evaluate the abaico work and our realization of your design concept, even make changes if necessary at no additional charge! With abaico you are involved in the design process of your project and have the ability to control production.
